AI refusal review

From a refusal to a clear next step

Elle helps physicians and billing staff spot likely refusal reasons before submission and investigate refused claims.

  1. Identify the issue

Flag likely refusal reasons or interpret a returned assessment, then explain which part of the claim needs attention.

  2. Explain what is missing

Identify the details that need checking or correcting, and explain how they relate to the claim or refusal reason.

  3. Find the information

Suggest where to verify missing details, such as the encounter record, referral documents or the responsible staff member. Use only sources the practice is authorized to access.

  4. Review a suggested fix

Propose corrections supported by the available records and explain the reasoning. A physician or authorized biller reviews changes before submission or resubmission.

The workflow requires uncertainty and missing evidence to be flagged, with corrections supported by documented information and approved by a reviewer. A suggested fix does not guarantee that a payer will accept a claim.
